Antonio Campo Dall’ Orto was appointed Executive Vice President of Music Brands for Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) in September 2008. In this role he works to reinforce the company’s unique position as a leading global provider of quality content that is locally relevant in key international regions worldwide.

Campo Dall’Orto oversees all creative and content decisions for VIMN’s music brands internationally and is the key architect of the organisation’s efforts to drive brand excellence through fully aligned and integrated strategies on the local, regional and international level. Dall’Orto and his team are responsible for fine-tuning and unifying the creative and content process in order to gain greater efficiencies and leverage scale within regions. Since assuming this role, Campo Dall’Orto has led MTV’s international brand refresh, Popx1000, launched two major world design studios in Milan and Buenos Aires as well as six regional design centres, aligned program grids and promotional strategies for MTV’s 50 plus international channels and reinforced MTV”s music leadership position with the launch of MTV World Stage and Push.

Campo Dall’ Orto is also the Managing Director of South Europe, a position he has held since 1999. His remit covers a successful portfolio of VIMN’s brands including MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount and a suite of digital music services in Italy, Spain, France, Portugal and Greece.

Under his leadership, the South Europe cluster has evolved into a key region and business for VIMN with original programming, live music events and the extension of VIMN’s brands onto various media platforms including the successful debut of five digital MTV channels on Sky Italia and the newly formed MTV Mobile.

Campo Dall’ Orto originally joined VIMN in 1997 to lead the launch of MTV Italy as the first Managing Director for the channel.

Prior to joining MTV Networks, Campo Dall’Orto worked at Telecom Italia Media (where he still serves on the board) as General Director and then CEO, overseeing the television business.

Previously, Campo Dall’Orto headed up programming and content for Italian TV channel La7 and worked in Milan as Vice-Director for Mediaset channel, Canale 5.

Campo Dall’Orto has also been involved with several important social responsibility campaigns over the course of his career. He was honoured in 2007 with the title ‘Advocate’ for the Millennium Campaign (the UN initiative started and promoted by Kofi Annan to fight poverty and hunger worldwide), in recognition of his work supporting the ‘No Excuse 2015 Campaign’.

Campo Dall’Orto holds a degree in economics from Venice University and a Masters in Marketing and Communication from Publitalia, Milan. He has also collaborated with the Communication Academy in Milan as Professor of Competitive Analysis and Marketing and held the position of President of the Association of Masters in Communication. He currently resides in Italy.
